Description
The 3PL Railroad Valley Exploration Project proposes to conduct mineral exploration activities including well drilling and brine testing on up to five new constructed drill sites and continued studies of three existing wells.
The Amelia A&B Project proposes to conduct excavation of mineral bearing sands on 7,120 acres of land to extract titanium oxide, zircon and other minerals.
The Becky's Mine Modification Project proposes to conduct surface mining of bentonite and associated reclamation activities.
The Caldwell Canyon Mine Project is a proposed phosphate mine that would expand existing leases, construct two new open pits, and develop access roads, utilities, water management features, and other infrastructure.
The Grassy Mountain Mine Project proposes for construction, operation, reclamation, and closure of an underground mining and precious metal milling operation for the recovery of gold and silver.
The Greens Creek Surface Exploration Project proposes surface exploration for silver, gold, lead, and zinc mining on Forest Service lands in Admiralty Island, Alaska.
The La Jara Mesa Project proposes development of underground uranium mining and surface support facilities at the La Jara Mesa property at Mt. Taylor near Grants, New Mexico.
The Libby Exploration Project is a proposed underground exploration and evaluation project to collect data that will shape and guide potential activities and operations for mining silver and copper.
The Lisbon Valley Copper Project proposes to expand open pit mining and beneficiation operations and initiate the extraction of copper through a method of in-situ recovery.
The McDermitt Exploration Project proposes to drill multiple bore holes for exploration of the lithium resource in the Oregon portion of the McDermitt caldera.
The Michigan Potash Project proposes construction of a potash solution mine and processing plant in Osceola County, Michigan, to produce approximately 800,000 tons per year of fertilizer-grade muriate of potash and about 1 million tons per year of salt.
The NorthMet Project is a proposed open pit mining operation to produce copper and nickel-copper concentrates.
The Polaris Exploration Project proposes temporary construction of up to 25 miles of new and/or reconstruction of previously reclaimed roads; construction of 250 drill sites; exploration drilling activities for gold resources, and reclamation of all proposed disturbances on Forest Service land.
The Resolution Copper Project proposes surface disturbance on Forest Service lands associated with development, mining, and processing of copper and molybdenum.
The Roca Honda Project proposes uranium mining on Forest Service lands near Grants, New Mexico.
The Silver Peak Lithium Mine proposes to reconcile existing activities and expand operations of the active lithium mine.
The South West Arkansas Project proposes domestic production of battery quality lithium carbonate from the Smackover Formation Brines in Southern Arkansas.
The Stibnite Gold Project proposes open pit mining and processing of gold and antimony, new road construction, utility upgrades, reclamation, and restoration at the Stibnite mine site.
The Stillwater Mine Project proposes underground platinum and palladium mining activities on Forest Service land.
The Warrior Met Coal Mines Project proposes extraction of metallurgical coal resources by means of underground longwall mining techniques.
