Alaska State Memorandum of Understanding
On August 27, 2025 the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council (Permitting Council) announced a first-of-its-kind agreement with the State of Alaska. Permitting Council Executive Director Emily Domenech and Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enhance collaboration and coordination between the state and federal government in the permitting process for select Alaskan infrastructure projects.
