On July 23, 2026 Executive Director Emily Domenech and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Permitting Council and the State of Georgia, committing to coordinate and streamline federal and state permitting for critical infrastructure projects in Georgia.
