On August 31, 2026 Executive Director Emily Domenech and Governor Joe Lombardo signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Permitting Council and the State of Nevada, committing to coordinate and streamline federal and state permitting for critical infrastructure projects in Nevada.
