On May 22, 2026 Executive Director Emily Domenech and Utah Governor Spencer Cox signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Permitting Council and the State of Utah, committing to coordinate and streamline federal and state permitting for critical infrastructure projects in Utah.
